Claire Miller – Australia

This was a big challenge for my disabled son Tom and he was apprehensive on the trip over from Australia. But Ed, Katie and Andrew made his stay rewarding and helped to get Tom into a good comfort zone within a day or so. So grateful to them for welcoming Tom and being so patient, explaining things to him and encouraging him to join in.
As for me, my second stay with Askari was even more special than my first. The sightings of rare and rarely seen animals was a bonus and the lion kill – a once in a lifetime privilege. But all that would be nothing – what makes Askari so special are the staff, the fun volunteers and the unswerving commitment of Pidwa to conservation goals. I am so sad to be leaving…
