Askari provided me with the opportunity to develop an in depth understanding of reserve management and its vital role in conservation of southern African wildlife. Askari allowed me to see South Africa in a way I could never have imagined. While at the same time giving back and truly making a difference. Beyond the 150+ animal species I saw and learnt to identify, I left Askari with lifelong friends from all over the world and a plethora of experiences, emotions and moments I will truly treasure for the rest of my life.
