This was my third time volunteering at Askari, and each time was special and unique. Each visit increases my knowledge and understanding of wildlife and conservation,  and has certainly impacted on how I view the world. The programme is based on ethical practices where the animals’ best interests are first and foremost. It was important to realise that the data collected at Askari is shared and becomes a part of national data – you know you are part of something bigger.  The staff are professional, knowledgeable and personable, and create a team that works together. The programme was fun and balanced and is definitely a life changer. I highly recommend it. Don’t hesitate!
